Art confronting nature and vice versa is at the heart of the Supernatural series.

Neither can escape space nor time. Thus, they must inevitably possess form and rhythm in the broadest sense. A conscious, deliberate, active, and decisive design is juxtaposed here with becoming, growing, developing and being in nature. Despite the differences in the creative process and development, form, rhythm, and colour are essential aspects of a bridge between art design and the natural environment.

The paintings in this series appear to have been ‘made from one piece’. Their surfaces seem to have grown naturally. Velvety textures embrace the viewer, giving them a sense of security. An osmosis between art and nature. The paintings make room for new visions, expand our consciousness beyond the limits of the possible.
